Lamplight Crochet Tutorial: Kid’s Messy Bun Beanie

Brrrrrr......winter is blowing over for sure. I've heard some people say they don't wear hats, but this winter will convince anyone to put one on. I've created a messy bun beanie for those who like to tote a ponytail or bun. It's fun and convenient for leisure wear in the winter, spring or fall. This pattern is designed for a child, but I have a winter hat posted just below this one that's designed for an adult. The messy bun hats are still very popular, and this one is very easy to make. If you are familiar with double and single crochet you will have no problem making this hat. The brim is made from front post double crochet and back post double crochet. I demonstrate how to do this in my video. It's actually not that hard to master.
